I wanted shortly tell you how the project is going, how I'm doing and what are my future plans.
As you probably have seen the website is almost dead, but that doesn't let me down: this has happened many times in the past and time after another we've risen. Also I want to tell you that the diary is dead and I've given up with updating it. I started it way too early. As for competitions, they are at the moment frozen, but when I have gathered enough motivation I'll start judging and hosting more competitions.
Next week I'll start my last period in my school: I'll be working on a small company for 5 months. The job is about contacting schools all around Finland and selling them a program that helps people learn programming languages.
Let's go back to the campaign itself. The campaign progress has been slow, otherwise there would already be 1.7 version. I'm working on it slowly, but surely. I'm at the moment working on various things, from chapter 8 to background stories. My plan is to finish the background stories and interludes for the next version. However, as you probably have seen my plans always change.
Whatever is my target, or whatever I'm doing, the campaign is slowly going forward. Thanks for everyone who's been here supporting me to continue this project. The project will be finished, it is my dream.
Elite and Epic quests are from now on counted as optional quests also.
Fixed save/load espers.
Rearranged ability positions and hotkeys. Now categories goes like in this order: Single(Z), Aoe(X), Heal(C) and Element(V). Special(S) and Ultimate(D) abilities stay where they were before.
Rebalanced ability damages.
All recipes cost now 50% less.
Fixed item & split system.
Fixed bugs from chapter 5 Elite Boss (over half of his moves were not enabled).
Remade chapter 5 Vampire Lord battle.
Remade chapter 6 Xada second battle.
Removed a lot of useless things around the campaign.
And fixed a lot of minor bugs around the campaign.
This is another 'fix version' where I've been fixing bugs and trying to make the campaign more enjoyable. I haven't added anything new to the campaign, except few item texts I improved. I've been doing chapter 8 and the progress is going well at the moment.
Here are the changes of this version. I didn't had the patience to write every single little bug I've fixed. I also forgot to fix the item split system. If there are major bugs then I'll most likely create another minor version.
Earlier you voted that chapter 8 should be the first thing to do. However I realised that there are three other pretty big things I'm also going to do before the beta is over. I'll do these same time as I finish rest of the chapters.
Eventually there will be three major version before all chapters are done: 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9. Each major version will have a new chapter meaning when 1.9 is released all 10 chapters are completed.
Also there are three other major things that I'll do: create interludes, remake chapter 3 and remake chapter 2 main stuff. Now I'm gonna ask from you what else you would like to have with chapter 8?
